Last year, FPCI successfully conducted the first ASEAN – China Survey 2020, involving 1000 respondents from all 10 ASEAN member countries. It has been used as a reference report of study for policymakers, academics, and people in the relevant fields.

The year 2021 is a special year for ASEAN and China as we commemorate the 30th anniversary of ASEAN China – Dialogue Relations that was established in 1991. In light of this, FPCI recognizes the importance of continuing the study. Therefore, we will be conducting the second annual survey, “ASEAN – China Survey 2021: Assessing Three Decades of Partnership.”

This year’s survey aims not only to assess Southeast Asian people’s perspectives on the ASEAN-China relations in various areas; political-security, geopolitical dynamics, trade, economy, connectivity, socio-culture, cooperation on COVID-19, but also to identify key trends, challenges, and prospects of cooperation after 1 year of the COVID-19 pandemic and onwards.

Note: Respondents of this survey must be nationals of the 10 ASEAN member countries.

Estimated time to complete: 10 minutes.

Respondents will be asked for their nationality, affiliation, and age group. Respondents will not be asked for their names and contact information.

Any respondents’ data will be kept anonymous and confidential.

The result of this survey will be reported in a written document format. The survey report will be made available on our website after the official launching event.
