Ambassadorial Lecture with H.E. Vincent Piket – Part 3: Yogyakarta

On July 20th, 2020, FPCI and the Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia conducted the 3rd FPCI Ambassadorial Lecture with H.E. Vincent Piket. The Ambassador gave us insights and updates on Europe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The top priority for Europe now is getting the vaccine. Right now, there are 2,7 billion Euros of funds to pharmaceutical companies that have a promising idea for a vaccine nearing clinical trials. For the EU, once there is a vaccine available, their goal is to make sure that it is accessible for all countries all over the world to obtain and produce from the patent at home.

This lecture series was joined by our FPCI Chapters in Yogyakarta — Universitas Gadjah Mada, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, Universitas Islam Indonesia, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
