FPCI telah sukses mengadakan Indonesia Net Zero Summit 2021 dengan tema “Selamatkan Indonesia Emas 2045 dari Ancaman Darurat Iklim” pada hari Selasa, 20 April 2021, pukul 11:00 – 16:00 WIB.
Summit ini diselenggarakan untuk menyambut Earth Day (tanggal 22 April) dan bertujuan untuk membangunkan kesadaran publik di tanah air mengenai bahaya perubahan iklim — dimana menurut pakar, kalau tidak ada perubahan, suhu bumi akan naik 3 sampai 4 derajat Celsius. Ini akan menjadi suhu tertinggi sepanjang sejarah umat manusia, dan akan mengakibatkan kerugian dan pengrusakan yang luar biasa terhadap segala aspek kehidupan bangsa : pembangunan, produktivitas, stok pangan, pemukiman, kualitas hidup, ekosistem, persediaan air bersih, kesehatan, konflik, dan masih banyak lagi.
Pesan utama dari Indonesia Net Zero Summit 2021 adalah bahwa segala visi indah Indonesia Emas 2045 — saat Indonesia merdeka 100 tahunnya — akan terancam apabila perubahan iklim tidak dikendalikan. Kita semua masih ada waktu untuk menghindari bencana dunia mendidih tsb.
Indonesia Net Zero Summit ini terdiri dari tiga sesi diskusi, dengan rincian rangkaian acara seperti berikut:
Sesi 1 (Jam 11:00 – 12.30 WIB): “Net Zero Sebagai Formula Penyelamatan Indonesia Emas 2045”
Sesi 2 (Jam 13.00 – 14.30 WIB): “Strategi Mencapai Indonesia Net Zero: Tantangan dan Peluang”
Sesi 3 (Jam 14.45 – 15.50 WIB): “Voices from the Future: Pesan dari Milenial dan Generasi Z yang akan mewarisi Indonesia Emas 2045”
Sesi Penutup (15.30 – 16.30): Closing Keynote
FPCI held “Save Golden Centennial Indonesia 2045 from Climate Threat,” on Tuesday, 20th of April 2021 at 11.00 – 16.30 Jakarta time.
This Summit is held in commemoration of Earth Day (on April 22nd) while holding the purpose of awakening public awareness on the danger and threat that climate change poses — where, according to scientist and experts, the temperature of the earth will increase up to 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. This temperature will the be the hottest temperature ever recorded in human history. Inevitably, it also brings destructive impacts to all aspect of our life, including: human productivity, housing & urban development, access to clean water, infrastrucutre, food supplies, public health, conflict, and many more.
The key message of the Indonesia Net Zero Summit 2021 is that the visison of Golden Centennial Indonesia in 2045 will be in jeopardy unless the threat of climate crisis is not responded to in the appropriate manner — and that response has to be done now.
This summit consist of three sessions, with the agenda as follows:

Session 2 (13.00 -14.30 Jakarta Time): “Strategies to Achieve a Net-Zero Indonesia: Challenges and Opportunities”

Closing Session (15.30 – 16.30 Jakarta Time): “Closing Keynote”
