Virtual Global Town Hall – Briefing untuk Diaspora Indonesia di Seluruh Dunia: Update Mengenai Perang Melawan COVID-19 di Tanah Air
On the 25th of April, FPCI in collaboration with Indonesian Diaspora Network – Global (IDN-G), Asosiasi Dosen Indonesia (ADI), and Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia se-Dunia (PPI Dunia) convened the first Indonesian government briefing on COVID-19 in Indonesia to Indonesian diaspora around the globe.
The briefing was given by Let-Jen TNI Doni Monardo, Head of Indonesia COVID-19 Task Force, and dr. Tirta Mandira Hudhi, doctor, influencer, and voluntee. Let-Jen Doni explained the policy options and implementations that have been taken in the past weeks, including government plans for the months ahead. He also explained the main challenges and the need for reagen kits to increase Indonesia’s swab test capacity. In addition, dr. Tirta also explained Indonesia’s capacity in the production of medical supplies.
