Global Town Hall (GTH)

The Global Town Hall is an annual marathon online discussion covering different time zones worldwide, including those of Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Russia, Canada, North America, and Latin America. It runs for 15 hours from 09.00 until 24.00 (GMT +7) to accommodate speakers, panelists, and audiences in various time zones – hence “around the world, around the clock.” . The Global Town Hall consists of typically around 12 sessions running for 60 to 75 minutes each – each session is opened with a short video message from a world leader. The Global Town Hall provides a dialogue for civil societies with world leaders and leading minds to discuss issues of common interests such as : state of the world, geopolitics, climate change, the world economy/globalization, human rights, governance, multilateralism, digital economy, public health, artificial intelligence, food security, youth, gender equality, etc. For more information: www.gth2023.com
